Soft, not tart, good minerality, essence of honey, peaches and pears. Not much tart citrus. Not as crisp as I expect from Sauvignon Blanc but was very easy drinking and was nice with pre-Mad Max (!!!!) dinner of scallops with @Anthony Pace. Out of all the inexpensive loire roses this year, this pinot noir is probably my favorite. It offers all of that loire funkiness, minerallity and drive but backs it up with ample cherry fruit flavors. Don't think too hard about it...
