Holy moly. This is a juice fest. An organic, unfiltered juice fest. Had my first sip at room temp, then @Emily Wilson suggested it be chilled, and OH MAN. Once it’s cool, this bad boy really delivers. Hints of raspberry, strawberry, and red currant. Awesome minerality. Founded in 1988 by Dave Miner, president of Oakville Ranch Vineyards, along with his wife Emily and his parents, Ed and Norma. Gorgeous light Ruby on the pour, ample red fruit aromas with oaky spice notes. Palate has big cherry and sweet red plum flavors, cacao and cinnamon spice with balanced oak. Rich full soft tannins lingering finish ending with herb character. Very Nice! Went well with a Halibut Livornese. — 8 years ago

11/20/19 at home. Tropical floral notes with honeyed and nutty notes and palate of sweet fruits balanced by acids and long finish that's complex. The pate was too mild and soft to stand up to it. A spicy firm sausage went better. Interesting. LW and Emily thought the same. — 9 years ago
