2015 for dinner with grilled NY Steaks salt a pepper finish. Fruit on the wine complemented the fat full flavor of the beef but the harmonious touch of dried herbs and an earthiness of mouth feel came together. In a really big sensation of married flavors to hand you the real deal. Beautiful Cabernet. Great wine and flavor combination to remember. Excellent. No rush to dink this wine it has years. — 5 years ago
Very silky with nice honeysuckle notes. Balanced. Some pineapple finish — 7 years ago
Dry yet succulent. Was quite impressive. — 7 years ago
Heavy on the melon, plenty of a acidity and just a whisper of oak. — 8 years ago
A tannic monster. Figured a wine named "Wild Boar" is appropriate for Father's Day. This is so freaking dark in notes, but the color wouldn't allude to that. Color is red/purple and smells hot. Red licorice, peppercorn, anise on the nose. High tannins on the palate. Cedar, smoky, beef jerky notes to it. Spicy rhubarb too. If opening now, this needs at least a two hour decant. — 8 years ago

Absolute delight. Deep berries and currants. Very fruity yet balanced with earthy minerals and light tannins. Great food wine with white meats and medium intensity flavours. Couldn't stop drinking this! — 10 years ago
dark red. nose: leather. prunes. overripe berries. lots of jam. mouth: full body. medium big tannins. more jam and leather on the mouth. drinks like a cab. medium follow through. love it — 5 years ago
64% CS, 28% ME, & 8% CF. No Malbec as listed in the description. I’ve had this for awhile. Didn’t like the first bottle so I avoided trying again. When I did try again I was surprised how much it improved with some age. — 5 years ago

Flora springs. One of our favorite labels! Never disappointed. Smooth blend. Super easy drinker. Crowd pleaser — 7 years ago
Pre-Release.
Deep and dark ruby red. Lovely and thick nose with dark cocoa, lots of bright red cherries, cinnamon and more baking spices. Heavy tannins (8/10) and drying. Lots of red berries, especially cherries on the palate. Some twigs and earthiness too. Long and lingering finish that needs some time. Little bit of heat in the finish. Drink till 2030. — 9 years ago
A lovely light bday treat — 10 years ago
A wine to remember. Plenty of fruit after 38 years. It continued to open for an hour and held on long after that. A truly special wine. many thx Mike for letting us help "rescue" this one from a worn out cork. — 10 years ago

Nice light lemon color and citrus/lemon notes on the nose. Tons of tiny active bubbles. A bit clunky, but vibrant balanced mid-palate. Weightier than anticipated, but lots going on... pear, ripe apple, Meyer lemon and a touch of toasty fresh baked bread. Lacking the weightlessness and elegance of France, nonetheless a fun companion with King Crab Legs on an early Spring evening. — 5 years ago
A pre-dinner bottle while we do meal prep tonight.
Prior notes still apply:
Nose has lime zest, lime juice, green hay, wet granite/limestone pebbles, oxidized green apple peel, polyethylene tubing and tangerine peel.
Palate has Key lime flesh, cold tangerine slice, apricot skin, wet-pulverized limestone, lemongrass, tangerine zest, (minor) dried apricot and light honey on the medium finish, medium acid, great balance. — 5 years ago

"Odedi"
It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a delicious one.
Inky in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, plums, sweet cherries, chocolates, cedar, light caramel, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco light cola and black pepper.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black cherries, plums, licorice, vanilla, cola, cedar, black coffee, chocolates, tobacco, earth, beef jerky and peppercorn.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and red cherries.
This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is already drinking very nicely. Showing nice complexity with a nice, soft mouthfeel.
Very true to the Terroir, without too much alcohol, which I liked.
Well balance and interesting. Fruit forward, rich and extracted.
Will age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Showing nice potential to become a 94+ point wine.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour in a decanter.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. Will pair nicely with BBQ Meats. I paired it with Camembert cheese and prosciutto.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Oakville and Rutherford, were aged in French (mostly) and American oak barrels for 18 months.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
