Love this wine. Elise Gaillard & her team do magnificent work on this Grenache Blanc/Vermentino blend from the hills above Banyuls-sur-Mer and Collioure on the Med near the Catalan border. It has become our primary house white wine here at Mas Roux. Floral and lemony crisp but creamy. It just wants a fennel and orange salad with a few white anchovies, and a breezy warm day near the sea. — 10 years ago

Utterly compelling, with an underlying propulsive drive of a Dodge Viper melded with the nimbleness and nervous alacrity of a Lotus Elise. It’s so rich and layered it’s like a dessert you never want to end. It’s got some dark fruit you and could probably age 100 yrs and still be layered and rich. The color was like a dark purple and bright around the edges like St Macairre. Really one of the best wines. Thanks Elise and David for making this happen. — 8 years ago
