A nice Tempranillo Shiraz & Cab blend from an organic estate in Valle de Guadalupe Mexico, fantastic estate run by great people. This bottle is a very good blend, deep mineral flavor, low acidity, notes of wood and cherry, a bit of sweet and risemary. Loved it! — 10 years ago

Wow! The nose on this is spectacular. Wild blueberries, spices, fresh walk in the woods, and flowers. The feel and flavor in the mouth are so great. More blueberries, herbs, spices with perfectly integrated tannins. A balance between bandol and new world. — 6 years ago

This Sicilian Grillo has a soapy, earthy nose that leaps from the glass, obscuring the mango and apricot fruit aromas. It is uncompromisingly mineral-driven. The palate is also full of the earth from which it comes, with a savory salinity that runs through the white wines of the Italian islands. After three days they were still enough tart tannins to coat your tongue. Write black and current berry, a little red fruit. Lush with medium acid. A good drink, but I’m still surprised at it’s tightness after three days. — 7 years ago
