A pure delight summer sipper. Medium weight, nice crisp texture. I am falling in love with a few Sonoma Italian blends. Clean, largely unoaked, food-friendly wines that let the food shine while elevating fruit, acid, alcohol to a whole new level. Perfect for the first 90+ Chicago summer day. — 5 years ago
Drier, crisp — 5 years ago

Orange Pinot Grigio. It's amazing. — 11 years ago
Color: actually copper like, amber, orange like the setting sun
Aroma: light light apricot, a bit of brown sugar
Tasting Notes: super well balanced, honey, caramel, stone fruit (apricot)
Texture: slight twirl of tannins and acidity but in a nice congruence, a nice balance , bouncy texture, like drinking clouds of sunset — mouthwatering — a year ago
Burst of acetic acid, great tamed tannins at the end, mulch nose, candied/dried orange peel, brackish water?
Beautiful copper red/orange tint that reminds me of fall. — 5 years ago
Just.... like nothing else. Every time. I love this wine. — 5 years ago
It tastes super light, a little bit dry, sweets. Good to clear a pallate — 5 years ago
Bought it at Lidl — 7 years ago
Luminous straw color. Intense, perfumed nose of apple, pear and lemon verbena, with a hint of tropical fruit emerging from the background. Then rich and suave with very good juicy cut to the pomaceous orchard fruit flavors. Much richer and denser than the average Italian Pinot Grigio. Finishes long and pure. Well done. Nice value with this Pinot Grigio. Crisp clean flavours. Refreshing as a sip alone or with salmon (which I had today) — 10 years ago
Crisp. Not quite as citrusy as expected. Delicious nonetheless — 11 years ago

Check out the color on the skin contact PG from the dolomites (right near where my dad grew up in northern Italy. I love Italian whites from this region and this “rosé” is exceptional. 12.5% abv. $22 — 7 months ago
