Delicious blend to balance the Malbec — 8 years ago
Nose: very fruity but not too ripe as a Malbec.. gooseberry and red fruit.. more elegant and less strong than usual Argentinian Malbec
Palate: great balance between red/black fruit and acidity (high altitude)
As a whole, it seems to me like an enhanced Pinot noir, not a Malbec

What a Torrontes! A shade to waxy for me but that gives way to a luscious finish I'm not accustomed to with this grape (attribute to oak barrel and single vineyard harvest). Classic minerality with ripe white peaches and acacia flowers on the nose. Fantastic. I haven't tasted a Torrontes this exquisite since my last time in Buenos Aires. — 8 years ago
Ordered at Gaucho. Lovely, smooth, dry but not overly so. — 9 years ago
Big juicy berries forward low tannins — 9 years ago
2011 - This is not Malbec for the masses and will probably ring a little softer with the average diner, but it is beautiful! Higher elevation with more acidity and a more transparent infrastructure. — 9 years ago
