As the winemaker stated during a recent #VivinoTasteParty, Musar is Musar. There is a compelling quality to these wines that make them special, Musar has a unique thumbprint. Incredible complexity on the nose, it unfurls slowly revealing layers of ripe plums, figs, cigar box, dried rose petal, spice and marvelous top notes of mint and dark chocolate powder. Medium-bodied, fine, velvety tannins lead into notes of red currant, leather, and rust. It crescendos with a finish of peppercorn, spice and tobacco. — 10 years ago

Liquid sugar. Too concentrated for my taste but well made. — 10 years ago
Love the 83 vintage of LB, going through my 3rd case of this. Dried red berries, saddle leather, cedar, tobacco, slightly sweet on the finish still showing some nice acid and developing that rust & iron element that you find in a good mature Burgundy. — 11 years ago

bright yellow green, aromas of petrol , white gummi bears, apricots and white flowers and canned mandarin oranges . Off dry, with palate of baked and fresh apricot, petrol, bitter orange pith , wildflower honey. A mouth full, delicious.
