Blend of 69% Shiraz, 16% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from McLaren Vale, deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with notes of vanilla, spice, licorice and tobacco. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, sweet spice and earthy notes. — 6 months ago
Good but too fruity for me. — 7 months ago
Pre-baked Apple pie that you're just putting into the oven. Sour apple, pear, dough and cinnamon spice. Macadamia nut in the mouth. Holding true to my belief that 2013 is the best Chard vintage in the recent run — 7 years ago
Crushable. Great summertime wine. — 8 years ago

Fresh, sappy, tart essence of raspberry.
A slightly funky nose full of energy and purity.
Bright & light on the palate, with juicy acidity and a fun light tannic grip. This has great character, brilliant energy & depth and is so much non Aussie jam. Great drinkability.

An exquisite wine. Chocolate, mushrooms, espresso, and dark fruits. A real treat. — 7 months ago
1999 vintage decanted in 2023. Love it! Deep ruby color. Beautiful bouquet. Well balanced cab. Deep dark fruit and leather. — 8 months ago
This is another blend. But this time it’s Cab, Syrah and Mourvèdre. — 3 years ago
Seductive nose of blueberry, cassis, cedar, dark roasted coffee bean,, nutmeg, peppery spice, touch of barnyard, and hint of tobacco. Probably the most harmonious palate I’ve had in an Aussie Shiraz. The oak and alcohol are totally integrated, with ample acidity and soft elegant tannins. Powerful and graceful.

An absolutely gorgeous Shiraz - and a steal for the price. Black pepper, licorice, and dark fruits on the nose, deliciously rich textbook flavors on the palate, but not overwhelming. Balanced and nuanced. Mile long finish. Beautiful. — 9 years ago
One of my husband’s and my favourite wines. — 6 months ago
Had the privilege of being the first non Quinta Do Vale Meao persons to have a try of this wine. Probably one of the best Portuguese dry reds still with lots of ageing potential. Appreciated that they combine tradition and technology. Complex and elegant despite its youth. — 7 months ago
Pale straw color with a slight green cast. Piercing aromas of petrol and wet slate with slight hints of white flowers and lemon/lime. The palate features ripe red apple, white peach, lemon and lime with a light touch of spicy ginger. A bit of a chalky texture which is well balanced by bracing acidity. A bit of CO2 bubbles in the glass. Long and lingering finish. Great with food. — 8 months ago
1hr+ decant and could have used more. Dark red color. Interesting nose with metallic, medicinal tones that tingled my nose. Wine has massive strawberry and cassis; and is sweeter than I was expecting. Very concentrated. The tannins reduce with ample air and the spicy aspects dissipate with time as well making it more approachable. Medium finish. — 3 years ago
Medium bodied with zesty citrus and underripe stone fruit. Crisp, clean, and petrol-y. — 5 years ago
On the nose, baked & slightly liqueured fruits of; lots of blue fruits, plum, black raspberries, raspberries, underbrush, saline, violets, and dry brown top soil. On the palate, concentrated blue fruits of; boysenberries, blueberries, olallieberries. Stewed plums, black raspberries & raspberries. They are in a liqueured syrupy state. The tannins are silty. Wild berry cola/licorice, underbrush, touch of vanilla & caramel, loamy dry soils, steep fruit tea, dry stones, liquid violets & the acidity pours over the palate. The rich, thick, fruity finish doesn't stop. It's drinking very nicely but likely peaked a year ago. However, still a nice example of how well his wines age. Photo tour of our April visit to Noon Winery. Winery, estate vines, open top fermenter and Drew Noon pouring our tasting. He is a very down to earth/salt of the earth guy. Thanks again for all the time you gave to us. @ Gary Danko with Filet and chocolate soufflé. — 7 years ago
Minty. Black currant. Super smooth. Very far from a standard Shiraz glop bomb. Surprisingly fresh and lively at 13 years old. — 8 years ago
