1hr+ decant and could have used more. Dark red color. Interesting nose with metallic, medicinal tones that tingled my nose. Wine has massive strawberry and cassis; and is sweeter than I was expecting. Very concentrated. The tannins reduce with ample air and the spicy aspects dissipate with time as well making it more approachable. Medium finish. — 5 years ago

Purchased from Marion Hotel and Cellars near Adelaide, we enjoyed this in American River on Kangaroo Island. This full-bodied Shiraz evolved beautifully over the evening, revealing layers of dark berries, pepper, tobacco, Australian bark and earth, and a hint of anise, with a spicy finish. Balanced and complex, it earned full bonus points for how much we enjoyed it. A great wine, albeit with a screw cap. — 9 months ago

2002 vintage in January 2021. This is in a great place. Fully mature with big red fruit and balancing earth.
