Baker Lane Vineyard(Field Guide 05), Bottle Numbers 1874 and 1879, Harvested 10/02/2014. Paired with a roast Alaskan Cod with Cannellini Beans and Castelvetrano olives, Roasted Broccoli, and Chocolate Gourmet Cannoli Cupcake. The food and wine complimented each, and the strong body of the wine brought out the hidden flavors and spices of the fish. Has a strong finish. Never ever adhere to old wives’ tale that only white goes with fish, as this meal clearly disapproves any notions. — 8 years ago

Drinking well. 2001 vintage. — 10 years ago
Als dessertwijn smaakt deze muskaat voortreffelijk bij chocolade, ijs en espresso. Voor de prijs mag dat ook wel, maar desalniettemin een opvallende prestatie! — 10 years ago
Crisp and refreshing... Fantastic! — 11 years ago
Very dark, but smooth and bubbly and not as heavy as it appears. Tasty and easy to drink like a lager with notes of chocolate. — 11 years ago
Truly, a Syrah not Shiraz from Australia. Pretty, restrained- not overly floral or jammy. Only outdone by Gary's Healesville Syrah- which is a feminine beast. — 13 years ago
This Long Island white wine does not smell/taste like a traditional Viognier. (No floral nose for example). That being said, this is still a pretty good wine.
Apple, apricot and peach aromas and flavors with a hint of limestone. Great acidity. Not what I expected, but.... — 8 years ago
Gorgeous color and aromas of black cherry and blackberries. Entry is rich and smooth with lingering aftertaste. Extremely enjoyable wine which unfortunately is no longer available from this vineyard plot. — 8 years ago
Really wonderful. Sad the estate is gone, so I hear? — 9 years ago

Awesome with lamb chops. — 11 years ago
Biodynamic single-vineyard wine. Estate grown Shiraz with a touch of Viognier.
Its smokiness surrounds aromas of anise and cedary oak with blackberries. It's meaty with a hint of animality, cinnamon and bacon strip. — 12 years ago
Enjoyed it more the next day. Nice oak and tannins. — 7 years ago

Served at Obama's 2nd Inaugural dinner. Thank you Hilary & Michael Ervin!!! — 11 years ago
Full body but light on the palate. Shiny new with a slight chalky spice in the back palate. Front palate is a sour plum skin. Let it breathe. Not expecting this from Long Island. Already planning a day trip. — 11 years ago
Best buy for the buck--my white go to. Fruit forward dry finish. Good body but drinkable. So much in this little wine! 2014 — 11 years ago
Really good. Tasted better a hour after opening. Need to stock up — 12 years ago
