CVed 10/11/17. Acker11. White flowers and nuts and blast of acids on nose. Palate of minerals and acids and almonds and hints of surprising fruit sweetness just beneath the tension and long finish. Energy! Mouth puckering acidity. Great food wine. First taste of Altesse. Vieilles Vignes. Need to compare with Brondien. — 7 years ago
Really drinkable. Great for a hot day. — 7 years ago
Tres sympa ça, tout proche d'un st jo mais avec un peu de merlot qui le rends super goulayant! Vraiment abordable. — 7 years ago
Crisp, some apple, acidity... Great deal — 8 years ago
Subtle floral notes with overripe lemon and a density of stones and saline. Great round texture and acidity. Wonderful at 11 years old but perhaps not a lot of development going on. — 9 years ago
Really refreshing. Great chilled, not too sweet but full of flavor — 10 years ago
Great wine cheap price — 11 years ago
On the nose, black cherries, black tea and orange peels. In the mouth, black cherries, earl grey tea and high acidity. Good mid-palate. Medium-long finish. Very smooth and very modern. Great QPR for a Pinot at this level, however it is not my preferred style. — 6 years ago
Raspberry and spice flavors up front, followed by floral and earl grey tea. Silky, medium-long finish. Solid. Easily has 5 more years. — 7 years ago
I found this white complicated. I liked it a lot. — 7 years ago

Rather than with oysters, had this Muscadet with Asian-style curried Black Sea bass in sesame broth. — 10 years ago

Okay - fine. It’s a good, probably great wine. Overpriced? Yes. Opus is filled with pretentious douchbags? Double yes. But this is a well-made wine bridging a gap between Napa and Boudreaux. Dusty nose with menthol, earl grey tea, tobacco, flowers, cassis, and creamy dark fruits. It has a really nice velvety finish. — 6 years ago
