Wow, what a bouquet, showing crushed cherry and strawberry mixed with wild herbs, yellow florals and crushed stone. It continued to open more and more over time. On the palate I found youthfully lean textures with tart black cherry, bitter herbs, zesty acidity and savory mineral tones. This wine has it all... has converted me to having faith in the potential of American Pinots. Nose is strong violets with undifferentiated fruit.
