Very enjoyable, found this very bold in the first taste and mellowed out towards the finish which was very smooth. Fruity and balanced. — 7 years ago
Drinking the 2008 in 2018. Deep dark rich color with excellent clarity. Dense rich nose. Raspberry, cherry and pepper. Very BIG flavor, rich with cassis, raspberry and earth. Low tannins and a balanced smooth finish. Wonderful wine! — 8 years ago
Okay - fine. It’s a good, probably great wine. Overpriced? Yes. Opus is filled with pretentious douchbags? Double yes. But this is a well-made wine bridging a gap between Napa and Boudreaux. Dusty nose with menthol, earl grey tea, tobacco, flowers, cassis, and creamy dark fruits. It has a really nice velvety finish. — 9 years ago
Had this a few times now. Was a steal at $20. Perfect Tuesday night guzzler 😂 — 9 years ago

Currently enjoying this in Paris... — 11 years ago

Excellent affordable blend. Extremely drinkable. Low alcohol and blended very well. Minimal nose with a quick smooth fruit beginning. Surprised by this juice. Get you a bottle. Excellent value. — 6 years ago

Surprisingly, I kinda liked this despite my aversion to overly-hopped beers. The nose is a straight up hop-bomb - floral, citrusy, piney. The palate's also full-on, with heaps of hoppy bitterness, but balanced by malty sweetness and tropical fruit notes (passionfruit and mango for me). Finishes crisp and earthy. Not bad, but not my kind of beer (not an IPA fan basically). — 7 years ago

My favorite non-nitro stout. Flavor notes are perfect and well balanced. It’s what stouts of this variety should aspire to be — 8 years ago
Had to get it again to share. So good for how inexpensive it is — 9 years ago

Excellent Wine. Subtle sweat and sour taste.. Very interesting. — 7 years ago
@Benjamin Keator had his hosting at the CC tonight and it was absolutely incredible. What a night of gorgeous wines! All wines are guessed blind.
5 reds tonight. 5 Bonds. Insane. I’m not going to try and evaluate each one as if they were crazy different because honestly, I found it fairly easy to determine all were from the same producer. That being said, I guessed all 5 reds were from the same producer and waffled between a horizontal or vertical...I ultimately chose vertical (which was wrong). I guessed all were Napa cabs. This was actually my favorite in the moment. It wasn’t as chalky/dusty as the first two and the fruit profile had mellowed. A younger tar and granite note came through with this. — 8 years ago
Malty with just the right amount of sweetness. Thicker than I usually like, but not overpowering. Bavaria! — 9 years ago

Very good moscato for the price! — 11 years ago
One of the best double IPA. Only this IPA can be compared to Pliny the Elder. — 11 years ago
Very dark, but smooth and bubbly and not as heavy as it appears. Tasty and easy to drink like a lager with notes of chocolate. — 12 years ago

Wine Nerd herd virtual tasting of various vintages from 90s, 00s and 10s - mine was the 2013 - 88% CS, 8% PV, 3% merlot and 1% CF from various vineyards in the valley floor region - four hour decant - this is less fruit than you would expect but certainly an amazing wine - Napa finest at a modernist style Bordeaux blend - nose was rich with tobacco leather cocoa and forest floor - heavy to medium body yet the wine was soft because the fruit was muffled - mid palette with black blue and red fruits - orange peel cinnamon and sweet silky tannins integrated nicely - this could easily go 30 more years but not sure it will get better so if willing to decant and maybe even double decant for an afternoon this wine is ready for being paired with a cowboy bone in rib eye steak and will not let you down - truly an enjoyable experience as was all vintages tasted last night - HUGE SMILES — 6 years ago
