This is the Foxmoth Merlot. Delectable didn't have this label. Hopefully, they fix. Lovely plum, dark cherries, blackberries, blueberries, black licorice, light nose of tarriness and minerals. Palate of; black cassis, blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, warm spice, round full tannins, black licorice, soft leather, light baking spices, crushed rocks with black soils and long good presence medium spice. — 8 years ago

Paul, Delectable is where I keep all my notes. It's always with me. So, when I am asked specifically about a wine and can't specifically remember it, I can look back on my notes. Also, when I have the wine again years down the road, I can see how it evolves. That's the part I really enjoy. What can I say, becoming a Sommelier changed my life from simply enjoying a wine...only really thinking about whether I thought s wine was a bad, good or excellent wine. To now, more or less picking them apart. It simply evolves to another level when you taste as much as I have with Master Sommeliers.

This is the Skybout. Hopefully, Delectable fixes. They didn't have this wine yet. The wine spent 11 in months new & used oak. I think about 15-20% new. On the nose, lemon, lime, green apple, green melon, vanilla and white & yellow flowers. Fruits on the palate are the same as the palate. Spice, soft minerals & chalkiness. Finishes with stronger spice than the nose, high acidity, nice minerals, clove, nutmeg and citrus blossoms. — 8 years ago
