Nutty, dry, deft acidity. The best kind of balance between a French dessert wine and a sherry. — 8 years ago
Give this one a little time. But it may be THE (or one of certainly) benchmark wines for the appellation. — 9 years ago

Another Wine Club meeting come and gone. This time we had some exceptional selections that were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Speaking of enjoyment, there are few things more enjoyable than sharing good wine with good friends. This is one reason why Wine Club is a tradition that we will strive to preserve for many years to come. — 7 years ago
Nice, easy drinking CDR that we found at the Strasbourg wine expo.. great price for an excellent daily drinking wine. About to pair it with some BBQ and beans. I'm sure it'll be great. — 7 years ago
I can't stop drinking this... This might be a good problem... Dark red ruby in color with a medium-plus intensity. The nose is filled with dark bing cherries, fresh cranberries, wet violets, wild mushrooms, moss, forest floor, smoked wood, and wet rocks. The palate was fleshy, mysterious and refined. Mushrooms and a perfect dose of acidity and chewy tannic structure made the finish irresistible. It's balance competes and stands tall with any of the great Burgundy producers. It's truly astonishing how this 12.5% Gamay is so complex. This bottle is hard to put down. Cheers to a perfect Friday night! — 8 years ago
Excellent with the pizzas! — 8 years ago
1995 Dom. Laurent NSG Les Vaucrains - The wine is showing beautifully. Still a bunch of primary notes, harmoniously integrated with some secondary tones. — 9 years ago
