A great example of Clerico's trademark combination of ripe dark fruit and spice and brown sugar, and with a touch of florality, it is drinking very well now. 2010 vintage. First thing I notice is the brown, red color. I think I get olive on the nose. Nicely balanced acidity and tannins. The wife thinks she noted dried cherry and licorice. Very interesting wine. — 7 years ago
