Also colloquially known as "fucking marvelous Chenin", this is a life changer. Head turner. So many layers of fresh, fruit, funk, and flavor- not your overly stinky wooly Chenin, more elegant, linear, with a turn for the herbaceous on the finish. Like peach/tarragon/olive candy, if that makes any sense. I'm in love with this wine. — 9 years ago

Super legit. Love the rich texture, but finished with clean finesse. This one is a head turner. — 10 years ago
If you want a sauvignon blanc totally funky ... High temp fermentation aged in foudre and you get a smokey, powerful and mineral wine ... Great with grilled lobster ! — 10 years ago
Hugely fruity. Will definitely buy again — 11 years ago

Textbook perfect. No edge to be found. Applewood, graphite and plum sauce spark the nose. Tannins are so plush and supple. Amazing concentration and balance. Berries and cherries build the backbone, on the front of the palate reveals this plum reduction, vanilla flower while brewing a spent cigar on the backside. Mid palate I get this sweet flavor, not overwhelming, of red currant and ripe fruit. Finish comes in fine style and is a head turner of violets and cassis. Stunner of a wine. — 9 years ago

Has that lovely aromatic thing that GC burgundy has that Cali pinots just don't. Firmly structured still, ruby in the glass, and perhaps a little foursquare overall for GC, but still a beauty. Some wines age like Anne Bancroft, and some a bit more like Kathleen Turner. — 9 years ago

It isn't supposed to age like this but it did. Brilliant and delicious. @carrwinery — 11 years ago

The 2012 Dominus is a real head-turner. Flashy, voluptuous and intense, but with tons of underlying concentration, the 2012 is simply magnificent. A towering, vertical Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2012 Dominus is one of the most concentrated wines of the vintage, yet it also maintains considerable freshness, the signature of a late-ripening vintage with no heat spikes. Chalk and green apples. Not tart almost off dry. Silky finish. 2015 vintage . I'm not a huge SB fan but this is a head turner. — 9 years ago
Wow. This is legit. Never disappoints. — 10 years ago
