Need to come down off of the '96 Trapet Chanbertin slowly. The jump from Trapet to an '06 Blaufränkisch was slightly too jarring. This will do just fine. — 11 years ago
A nice example. Gives a lot on the lychee-floral-aspirin spectrum without being too lush. About 10 grams of RS, low cheesy-smokey character. No-very low botrytis. It'll never be my grape, but this is absolutely text book. — 11 years ago

Very delicious and an excellent value, at least for burgundy. Needs at least 3 hours of air at this point - plan to try the next one in a few years. Precise fruit on the nose with a beautiful color. Excellent throughout the palate with a great finish. — 6 years ago
