Slightly reductive nose with citrus notes brimming through. Reminded me of Bachelet Monnot. Everyone but one guessed Burgundy. Apparently the finish suggested NZ Chardonnay. What do I know. — 6 years ago
Reminds me why I fell in love with Burgundy. Acid, fruit, kiss of oak....makes Colin a happy boy! — 6 years ago

Crisp apple tart mild mineral not as “buttery”. I really enjoyed this wine — 5 years ago
A bit too minerally for me but still good — 6 years ago
If you like 'em young, vibrant, and crisp, this is a nice White Burgundy. At $50 from Costco, it's not too bad. As a pre-dinner sipper, perhaps a little too bracing. Lemon, white peach, light flowers... No flaws, but also nothing overly memorable. — 7 years ago

Interesting Pinot. Very tight and green in the beginning. Adapted a character after 1-1.5 hours. Opened up and allowed us to pick up earthy tart dark cherry fruit. — 5 years ago
The 2015 Volnay Taillepieds 1er Cru shows a bit of reduction on the nose, eventually clearing to offer undergrowth and bay leaf infused red fruit. The palate is underpinned by firm tannin, impressive depth. Quite a complex and grippy Volnay with superb length. Pascal Roblet has really got a handle on this Volnay. I can see this ageing with style and panache. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2018)

Medium plus acidity that lasted for the whole bottle and did not open up as I would have hoped. a lot of ripe and tart red fruits, along with some herbaceous notes. I think this may need to sit for a few more years to enjoy its best qualities. — 6 years ago
I have had this wine a few times and have always enjoyed it. Super value too. — 7 years ago
Great young burgundy- meursault always a winner. — 9 years ago
One of those white Burgundies that makes you question the logic of the crowd. Why is no one drinking Monnot? It's imported by the same guy who brings in Jamet. Powerful, intense, pure and showing plenty of pedigree, potential, and freshness tonight. — 10 years ago
