Great value for the price. Very fresh, crisp, dry wine with green apples and grapefruit notes. Pleasant acidity, not as „stingy” as usually Picpoul is. I’ve got a head cold but this bottle is still rockin. Bottle age has softened the fruit character and emphasized a perfumy floral quality. Bruised red stone fruit, ripe soil, and fresh herbs found out the nose. Fine tannins and juicy acidity are persistent through the long finish.
