Delicious with beef. Berries & plums, but not heavy. — 5 years ago
This was my pairing with Boeuf Bourguignon, which took about 6 hours! The dish turned out well, but the wine was on the syrupy sweet side. Still good. Happy St. Nicolas Day!
Follow up: Just like the dish, this improved on day two. Still a bit sweet, but more subtle. — 4 months ago
Terroir is very evident. Wet moss and fresh soil compliment forrest berries. — 8 years ago
Dark, densely-colored. Dusky, spicy, with plummy, almost Corton-like fruit. Old vine intensity and concentration that shows in the ripe, long finish. Another small Burgundy estate that flies below the radar, churning out great values. — 5 years ago
Reminds me of OR Pinot. New oak on the nose. — 6 years ago
