Bright, young and vibrant. Very tasty. — 4 years ago
Dry and bold with a lingering finish. Oak, tart cherries, and a hint of something that reminds me of really good olive brine. — 5 years ago
Mature, complex with spicy dark fruit. Impressive with good length. Ripe tannins. — 6 years ago
Black cherry, earth funk but brought and fruity. Great balance and acidity. Fun and interesting but also something I could drink regularly. Awesome baby bandol! — 8 years ago

Nose is so mineral. Lemony and buttery. But it’s overwhelmingly mineral and scene in the forest. Palate is racy and ripe but has terrific acidity, freshness and cut. Long finish. Juicy and so pure. Really awesome stuff. Wow as this opens the e berg is palpable and the complexity is off the charts. So good. Nice richness on the palate now with a few hours of air. — 2 years ago

Bright sunshine. Lisa wants to drink this on the porch of our plantation overlooking the Spanish moss covered elms. Lemon, orange peel, stones. Living and vibrant. Great acid/fruit balance. Med+ length. ~chalky texture. Delicious now but good to age. — 9 years ago
Dry, pear, lemon, a hint of butter and oak, mineral...an excellent white burg — 9 years ago
An 09 I opened and then vacuum pumped and left for 2 weeks (out of town). It just got better!. Dark and big but not too brawney. Raspberry as opposed to plum fruitv. Nice spice and a just a bit of sweetness — 11 years ago
Lots of complex aromatics that became even more expressive as the bottle warmed up. Some oxidative notes mixed with bread and flowers. In the mouth this leans to the vinous side. Acid driven which allows it to be consumed through out the meal. Just a hint of bitterness on the finish — 2 years ago
Gorgeous wine from the 2000 vintage. Bright and vibrant but also full of savory, saline earthiness. Black and green olive, white truffle, dried fig, raspberry liqueur, black currant, orange pekoe tea, wet stone minerality, baking cocoa, black licorice, fresh earth, forest floor. Soft and supple, like velvet on the tongue. Mellow tannins that finish with a peppery note and surprisingly lively acidity. This can keep going for a while but I’m glad we opened it today. — 4 years ago
Semi-sweet, light and refreshing, good table wine — 5 years ago
Lemongrass and minerals. Lovely! — 6 years ago
Well shit. Wildly expressive nose of tea, kirsch, saddle, fennel and sage. Started off too cold but with temperature increase opened up to a beautiful, elegant style CDP with cherry, blackberry, and all sorts of rustic garrigueness. A smoky, blue fruit finish. Tannins and acidity and alcohol all in perfect formation. Just awesome — 8 years ago
Prefer it freshly opened with limited air while it's still tight. Really good. — 9 years ago
Very interesting and delicious showing how far one can push and still have freshness even with a fairly oxidative style. Cool. — 10 years ago
