Meursault Chardonnay 2004

Butter and petrol too the max. Still creamy but also some acids. No more citrus, but overripe mango. A seriously nice aged meursault. Finished the bottle, bit what a great bottle — 7 years ago

Bourgogne Chardonnay 2006

Typical flavours of an old bourgogne. Old but bot too old. Caramel and petrol, no more fruits, nice acids. Makes me smile — 8 years ago

Got forgotten under a stack of Meursault of 2006 and 2007. Should have drank it earlier, but it pleases me anyways.

Romanée St. Vivant Grand Cru Pinot Noir 1966

#birthyear murky brickish red. Still plenty of red and cherry fruit with some interesting spice. On the downward path but a few pleasant beverage. I think Dujac buys this RSV land later on. — 8 years ago

Harry, Domaine Dujac's RSV holding is actually owned by Dr. Wilf Jaeger, and Dujac farms, vinifies, raises, & bottles under the Domaine. Interesting if same parcel.

Interesting. I'm reading 'Pearl of the Cote' right now. If I understand correctly. Part of Moillard RSV was sold to Arnoux and Cathiard in 1984. Which Cathiard then sold part back to Moillard. Then there is the 2005 sale which splits up the Moillard (Charles Thomas) purchase between de Montille and Dujac (Jaeger leaseback).
