Not sure why the low ratings, maybe others drank too early? Slightly gold hue but pretty translucent. Minerality and apples dominate, with hints of plastic. No oak what so ever. Got better over an hour. Medium plus depth and medium finish. I love wines from the St. Aubin region. Didn’t knock my socks off but really good. Another 2-5yrs might really help. — 2 years ago

Love this wine...a tiny parcel, close to be exact is one of our favorites from Olivier Leflaive. 2010 vintage with honey suckle notes. Several years in this excellent 1er cru!! Still bright acid. Bob’s “house wine”... he wishes! — 6 years ago
Perplexing but tastes great. — 8 years ago

So good for my palate to be back in France.
Tart Granny-Smith green apples, Meyer lemons, lime, underripe pineapple flesh, kiwi, underripe green melon, light caramel notes, some honey, paraffin, limestone with volcanic minerals, sea fossils, saline, tiny chalk bits, toast, hints of mint & dry herbs, Spring white flowers, jasmine, excellent acidity, well balanced, just firm structure/tensioned, elegant & nicely polished finish that lasts 90 seconds and long sets on minerals.

Finding Olivier Leflaive in Tofino Wick $110 CAD. — 3 years ago

Round and fat, vanilla, dried apricots and nice levels of oak — 4 years ago
Tasted over three days. The wine would rarely show its true nobility and Magic. This is only the second time that I have ever tasted Montrachet and the first time was a 2005. I felt the same about the other one that I tasted that both of these wines were not giving themselves up very easily. Both stuck to a very strong dense lemon oil and garlic type of character long mineral finish obvious stony Ness but not put together like the few flashes and moments that it would give off of just pure royalty and striking beauty. Not sure what is happening here maybe drinking them too young or just not enough energy present to coax out the magic. Good nonetheless but not $500 good. Would not spend the money again currently. — 5 years ago
Lovely pale straw colour. Fresh, citrus nose. Pineapple, a touch of oak and vanilla on the plate, with a long buttery acidy finish. An excellent wine, typical modern and impeccably-executed — at NOA, Tallinn — 6 years ago
Solid non-oaked though high minerality Chardonnay. This was the perfect start to a great dinner at Botanist; so great we ordered a second bottle. The perfect kick-off to Jessica's 40th — 8 years ago
Drinking great. Pear, brioche, lemon and wet stone. — 8 years ago
Still love this wine. Shout out @Martin Davies for gifting me a 2002 monthelie a few years back that made me aware of the region — 10 years ago
Yummy! The perfect dry white, not fruity! — 13 years ago
Выпито четвертым вином в тот же день 12.10.25 в Puesto. Что сказать - прекрасное. Шардоне 2022 года. — 7 months ago
Definitely, shows the fruit of 22. Lighter style extraction. A nice pair with Petit Filet Mignon with Glazed Cipollini onions and Red Peppers drizzled in a light gravy.
Bright, ripe and floral fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, baked strawberries, raspberries, hints of blueberries, some pomegranate, really nice, soft, spice, light baking spices-clove, nutmeg, cinnamon & vanillin, dark, rich, turned earth, a touch of tree bark with sap, just a touch of eucalyptus, dry top soil, red & purple flowers, round acidity, not overly complex but drinks very easy with a nice, balanced finish that lasts under a minute and falls on light spice & dry top soil.
Also, finished nicely with a bite of flourless chocolate cake w/ raspberries.

Leflaive. What can you say? It was tasty - I am partial to Meursault. Acidic in a good way. Biggest issue was lacking finish. — 10 years ago
