Yum yum. This is interesting! It's Chard with a bit more sun that the usual Burgundy (it is the cote chalonnaise after all). And it's got some ageing. Resulting in honey and acidity, but not that richness, creaminess that would be found in, say, a Chassagne Montrachet. Honey, some minerality, and good acidity. Some stone fruit like quince too. Good wine for sure, at an attractive price point for the region. — 10 years ago

If you're looking for a beautiful first course wine that pairs with a lot of rustic, inspired food, this is that wine.

Cherries and raspberries, sure, but there's also baking spices and red peppercorns and underbrush. The palate is young and fresh, bursting with fruit and spice while still being distinctly pinot noir. — 9 years ago
