Still quite young tasting especially relative to the 96 corton renardes from gaunoux. Would love to revisit in 5-10 years and see what this grows into. — 5 years ago
Much tighter than the previous bottle. — 6 years ago
An excellent #meursault I found the acidity slightly too high #perrieres #gaunoux #chardonnay #whiteburgundy — 6 years ago
Great wine, still needs a couple of years to round out. — 7 years ago
Interesting wine- there were moments when it was blah--- and moments when there was a little bit of that electric current running through the wine that signifies great burgundy to me. — 7 years ago
Un grand pauillac? Not sûre. C bon. Une côte rôtie encore. — 8 years ago
This is the 'Cuvée du Roi' 2012 and is clearly a Bourgogne from the Cotes-du-Nuits. This is rich and silky with great depth and structure that has some lovely acidity and fine tannins that drinks well above its level. Could easily be a good C-D-N villages. — 9 years ago
Outstanding. Another fabulous mature #Gaunoux. #pommard #redburgundy — 9 years ago
Les Chantreries - Chateau de Pommard -2001 : magnum . Liquoreux , charpenté, gros caractère, un peu moins gouleyant, touche d’acidité légère. Un bonheur. Joyeux noel. — 3 years ago
2008 vintage. Very rich and vinous. Lots of red fruit with tart cherry, golden raspberry, baked apple, red and pink flowers. Very textbook for Meunier. Killer value! — 6 years ago

Incredible for the $$. Black earth, tar, cassis, mild tannin. Still surprisingly light on its feet for the style. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Côte-Rôtie Deep ruby with purple highlights. Clean, medium-plus nose with a riot of aromas including medicinal overtones of iodine and tar, black olive licorice, black pepper and exotic spices. Medium plus acidity, medium plus ripe tannins with all the aromas mirrored on the palate. Excellent multi-layered wine with a long finish. — 8 years ago
The 1990 Lynch-Bages remains the towering Pauillac it has always been, even if Jean-Michel Cazes personally prefers the 1989. It has a riveting, graphite-infused bouquet that is brilliantly defined, very focused and sharp as a razor-blade. Poured directly against the 1990 Lafite-Rothschild, this Fifth Growth beats it hands down. The palate is very well structured; this is an aristocratic Lynch-Bages with impressive grip after 28 years. There is a symmetry underpinning this wine, a sense of energy undiminished by the passing years, that makes this 1990 Lynch-Bages so compelling. Just awesome. Tasted during the Christmas Dinner at Noble Rot restaurant. (Neal Martin, Vinous, December 2019)

Good herbal and earth notes on the nose. Dark fruit palate with firm tannins and leather undertones. — 7 years ago
Mineral and green apple nose, unctuous mid- body and delicious. Tart and juicy finish. Winner for the category. — 7 years ago
Really enjoyed this. Everything I have got from Rezin at the SAQ has been good — 8 years ago
