The nose and color indicated it might have passed its peak , but after tasting, I was very impressed how well this held up! — 7 years ago
Kiwi fruit and flint. Really pretty wine. Thanks Paul! — 8 years ago
Camarelused but not oxidised - almost a botrytis note - lovely — 8 years ago
The oak is a bit heavy at this juncture, but the lime and papaya tinged fruit shines through. Classy. — 8 years ago

Frenchie wine bar. Spicy. Well balanced. Apparently dirtiest wine cellar in France. — 10 years ago
Great fine here in Kennebunk, solid Cotes de Beaune. Floral with some Anise, Cedar, so smooth and refined. — 12 years ago
Very nice, very balanced, interesting. — 6 years ago
Medium–light bodied, Pinot fruit, tea, cranberry, touch of leather, mineral & saline with good acid. Alan’s present from Rachel. — 7 years ago
Love this style and Chateauneuf du Pape in general. Animale nose (but no Brett!). Also Raspberries Blackberries Earth and Thyme. Sweet red berries on palate with grainy tannins and a touch of bitumen. First introduced to the Wines of Henri Bonneau a few years ago in CDP in a restaurant where I was lucky enough to have had a “Celestines “ which was a WOW Wine for me. Henri passed away last year but his Wines live on Current vintages made by his son. — 7 years ago
Think I need to pay a visit to Boirgogne...yum — 8 years ago
Definitely reduced. Some roundness (oak) too? Under the sulfury nose there's a bit of green apple. — 8 years ago

Needs a lot of air, but once it opens, it reveals a wine with so much grace. Tart red cherries, under ripe strawberries, green stems, and lots of acidity. — 7 years ago
Very interesting matching with sole — 7 years ago
Fifth day open: roasted plums, cherries, jasmine, black tea, saddle leather. Nebbiolo-like and balsamic, yet it's immediately recognizable as Pinot. Another example of how '15 offers Cote-de-Beaune reds that are as good as they can possibly be. #chassagnemontrachet #pinotnoir — 8 years ago
