More transparent and energetic than most Burgundian producers. — 5 years ago
Nose of cedar, red raspberry, juiced cherry, cranberry and wet leaves.
Palate has rehydrated cranberry, partially dried cherry, raspberry juice, unsweetened cranberry juice, early spring strawberry and light, loamy earth.
Slightly grippy tannins, otherwise a very smooth finish, medium length. Our first go around with this producer. I bought at a local shop tasting event, decanting this was the way to go. The fruit was solid when I first tasted, but the tannins seemed to get in the way. You'll (generally) never get to taste a bottle at a walk around that has had the proper air, so you need to go on faith and experience some times. I'm not disappointed with this bottle tonight, decent show. $25
Another 3-5 years of patience will do no harm to this bottle, likely benefit. — 5 years ago

2012 vintage. This estate is owned by Jean Guyon, the biggest owner of vineyards in the Médoc appellation. Mainly Merlot (70%), with equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. A rather difficult vintage, but in general merlot fared better than Cabernets. Attractive nose, almost New World in style, with amarena cherries and vanilla. Round and ripe, but with good acidity. Gentle tannins and good length. Obvious oak influence but not drying. Drinking perfectly now and well worth the 18 euro price tag for a mature Bordeaux. — 4 years ago
Medium bodied easy drinking Pinot noir. Light pepper notes and dark berry fruits. Medium tannins and maybe would decant next time. — 5 years ago
Good red fruit with rose pedals and rhubarb on the nose. Nice acidity and a very long finish. — 6 years ago
Village wine rocking! Wow. Brick red and a touch cloudy. That all cleared up and the wine just got better and better. Obviously the acidity was tame but enough to keep it fresh. Beautifully sweet fruit. Lovely and a huge surprise. Price tag on it was $10.13!!!! — 6 years ago
Perfect wine for any occasion — 7 years ago
Can't for the life of me remember where I got the bottle, but the 2010 was a seriously fine cote de nuits. — 8 years ago
