I've been told you get more for your money with the French reds. Kind of agree. — 9 years ago
Found an old Premier Cru in a corner of my cellar. Holding up remarkably well at 17 years. Some varnish. Savoury sappy and food friendly. Medium to light weight with palate length. 17. — 10 years ago
Really showed well. Lots of savory notes, nutty, mineral but quite intact. — 11 years ago
Still potent. Bright acidity, minerality and pleasant complexity. — 5 years ago

Medium bodied easy drinking Pinot noir. Light pepper notes and dark berry fruits. Medium tannins and maybe would decant next time. — 6 years ago
Village wine rocking! Wow. Brick red and a touch cloudy. That all cleared up and the wine just got better and better. Obviously the acidity was tame but enough to keep it fresh. Beautifully sweet fruit. Lovely and a huge surprise. Price tag on it was $10.13!!!! — 7 years ago
Perfect wine for any occasion — 8 years ago
Can't for the life of me remember where I got the bottle, but the 2010 was a seriously fine cote de nuits. — 9 years ago

2012 vintage. This estate is owned by Jean Guyon, the biggest owner of vineyards in the Médoc appellation. Mainly Merlot (70%), with equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. A rather difficult vintage, but in general merlot fared better than Cabernets. Attractive nose, almost New World in style, with amarena cherries and vanilla. Round and ripe, but with good acidity. Gentle tannins and good length. Obvious oak influence but not drying. Drinking perfectly now and well worth the 18 euro price tag for a mature Bordeaux. — 5 years ago
More transparent and energetic than most Burgundian producers. — 6 years ago
