Not fully in the zone yet but drinking very well nonetheless. Licorice and balsamic notes on the nose, almost Nebbiolo like. Full flavored, with secondary layers emerging. — 8 years ago
Powerful and rich, a serious wine which had us all thinking new world. Gripping tannins and a great finish was a delight — 8 years ago
This had a surprising silkiness of tannin for young Pommard, but with typical weight and minerality — 9 years ago

Seamless with nice finish — 5 years ago
Beautiful wine suffused with sour cherry, black raspberry, apple wood, moss, all well blended. Bright with tannins and can age but was still delicious -- perfect for Christmas Eve dinner. Perhaps the best wine I had this year. — 8 years ago
Really pretty nose holding up nicely. Good mix of fruit and earth. — 9 years ago
Tar, cherry, raspberry. Not very well balanced. — 10 years ago
Hard not to recommend this one. Entry level burgundy that is performing way above it’s status . Excellent wine. — 5 years ago
Best 2012 Bourgogne I've tasted — 9 years ago
The food at Herbsaint paired beautifully with this. Pretty open 09' with very pretty fruit. — 9 years ago

Cherry, earth, hay and a bit of a mineral thing with pencil lead. Superb palate with a strong acid backbone, a irony touch along with cherry, a very dry and and hard touch on the sides and some harsh tannins that need a bit of aging to resolve. Then comes a long finish with cherry and a touch of bitterness and some nice roundness coming up at last! I love burgundy this good but this one needs a couple of additional years to be at peak. — 5 years ago
