Very nice white wine from the Azores. Indigenous grape, Arinto, from the Pico area. Lots of unripe citrus peel and stone on the nose. Mouth filling and precise with excellent acid and a long finish. 2008, Cien Y Pico, Doble Pasta Garnacha Tintorera, Manchuela. Hundred year old Grenache vines on their own rootstock. Heavy extraction and probably no fining nor filtering.
