Needed cheese rather than crab despite melted butter indulgence. Rich, extravagant, and some briny, saline inflections. However, not as much pop, cut, as anticipated. A good wine, but not spectacular for Ganevat. — 7 years ago

This, on the other hand, has no VA issues, just an insane variety of aromas and flavors. Barnyardy funk, spices (cinnamon even?), along with what I swear comes off as garlic to me. I'd like a bit more body though, and it seems pretty tannic still. A few years in bottle will probably do this some good, but this is unique and fun to drink anytime. #ganevatwednesdays — 9 years ago

Tons of potential. See you in another 5-10 years.
Tried again 10/22/15. Still showing a reductive side, but with an hour of air there's a brilliant, floral wine. Just needs more time.
