Not my favorite L’Anglore, but still tasty. A little hot, but the pure fruit comes though on the finish. — 6 years ago
Excellent! The palate goes on and on. Bold fruit, darker, but also a lightness that makes this sing. — 6 years ago

Grenache and Mourvèdre. Juicy red and blue berries. VA in a good way - carrot, dill. Pepper, tarragon, and dried black tea. Medium acid, medium plus to elevated tannins, 13% abv. Elevated intensity and long finish. — 6 years ago
Blanc du Noir, salmon colour twinge, strawberry starburst ... unique, and one of my favourite Champagnes of a tasting conducted by @six_admospheres. — 6 years ago

Reticent on both nose and palate for 1st hour. Both unfurl with air. Meat, black fruit, floral on nose. Expands in glass. Palate fills out: nice whack of salty earth, iron, meat, black cherry. Buoyed by ripe tannins and sneaky acidity. No hurry here, but a very satisfying 2006. Re-buy, enthusiastically. — 10 years ago

This is for Eric Rodez's Empreinte Noire 2007. A blend of 62/38 Pinot Noir/Chardonnay from best parcels from six vineyards of the best year - 2007. Strawberry, red cherry, honey, honeysuckle, and pronounced toasty characters. Low acidity, medium+ intensity and finish. — 6 years ago
Always great. You can feel the wood and the freshness in this wine. — 6 years ago
Wonderfully complex champagne that keeps opening up. Great gift from Howard. — 7 years ago
Have yet to have an EK bottle disappoint. This is in a fantastic window right now. So good. From the winery; ‘In the glass, the 2013 Small Town Pinot is a very pretty medium garnet color. Explosive aromas of crushed red cherry, forest floor and spice abound, followed by an outright party of ripe cranberry, strawberry, black plum and rhubarb pie on the palate. All rounded out by hints of juniper berry, nutmeg and cloves. A hair riper than last year, but no less graceful, there’s a pleasant sense of all-around finesse.’ All ringing true tonight. Loved this. — 8 years ago

Dried Roses, salted plum, kirsch, fennel, strawberry jam, black pepper, blood orange. Rosé but also not like any other rosé. Rich and inviting but also mineral and tense. Energetic and lovely all around. — 4 years ago
