This really is ground-breaking Pinot. It drinks exactly how it shouldn't, and it's fantastic. Young and bright like this is great, aroma mellows to bright cherry yet starts will hints if spice. Pallet is juicy and acidic, a wonderful wine to crush, but is intense in a very unexpected and pleasant way. The Bourgogne for the Rhone drinker. — 10 years ago
I want to drink this all the time — 10 years ago

Well stored, musky red fruits, acid still hanging in — 11 years ago
Yum, holy rich. Acid still wrangles the richness. Huge mouthfeel. — 11 years ago

2011 amazing — 11 years ago
Sweet and savoury nose of ripe red fruit, cherry, currant, vegetal notes, Brussel sprout, cauliflower soup, cucumber, leather, underbrush, mushroom and Asian spices. On the palate the wine showed sweet, ripe red fruit, cherry, currant, vegetal notes, cucumber, tobacco, spices, caramel as well as mineral and balsamic notes, paired with medium-plus lively acidity, fully integrated tannin, a smooth mouthfeel and incredible length. The fruit became less pronounced as time passed, to the benefit of the tertiary notes. A medium-bodied, medium-complex, well-balanced red Burgundy that drank young for its age and seemed to be good for another 10+ years. I liked it a lot. 93 — 11 years ago
Trying the 2012. Very nice with hint of cherries. Been so used to the US Pinots of late that I missed going back to the Burgundy region. This wine is excellent. — 9 years ago

2008. Tart red fruits, Gevrey funk, nice acid. Still quite youthful. — 10 years ago
Initially thought the wine was premoxed but eventually came around. Little minerality, likely resulting from vintage but enough fruit and complexity to keep the wine enjoyable. — 11 years ago

Big producer, but a really stellar wine. Everything you'd want in a Chablis. Got this for $5 on the clearance shelf at an Albertsons. Kudos to the wine buyer, shame on you general wine buying public. If it said Chard on the label it would have been sold long ago. — 9 years ago
