This really is ground-breaking Pinot. It drinks exactly how it shouldn't, and it's fantastic. Young and bright like this is great, aroma mellows to bright cherry yet starts will hints if spice. Pallet is juicy and acidic, a wonderful wine to crush, but is intense in a very unexpected and pleasant way. The Bourgogne for the Rhone drinker. — 8 years ago

1999 vintage. Golden hue. Slightly oxidised and honeyed. Almost mead like on the nose. On the palate, slightly thick, medium acidity, good concentration and nice finish. Sherry notes on mid palate from oxidative state - faulty bottle? Probably. But still very drinkable. — 8 years ago
