Serious wine, whatever that means. Nose of deep red fruits with an undercurrent of freshly cut grass and a hint of earthiness. Still a bit primary and tannic, but still just intense, focused and ethereal. Much more chambolle than NSG — 6 years ago
It was good! It was our first wine from Beaujolais and we will definitely purchase again. — 9 years ago

Will end up replacing my Blackjack Alix de Vergy. Perfectly balanced deep berry, barn wood and a bit of earthiness. Smooth throughout with a very clean cherry finish. — 10 years ago

Fruity good wine! — 6 years ago
2016/3/8 at Wine Sellar & Brasserie, San Diego. My first time trying this producer. Seems more new world style, fruit generous, lower on acidity (perhaps due to vintage). It does have a good integrated sense of terrior though. Very easy drinking, very enjoyable. — 9 years ago

Beautiful champagne. First time drinking. Don't waste it in a flute, but a nice compact but round champagne glass. #cutesocks — 11 years ago

Sparkly, creamy, fun glass of brut rose — 8 years ago
The sommelier described this selection as fruit forward, but I respectfully disagree. I experienced more minerals than anything else, which seems consistent with the fact that this delicate tasting wine is grown directly in the limestone bedrock, with very little soil. Hints of pepper rounded out the flavors. Excellent! Paired well with langoustines and lamb. — 8 years ago
Mum likes it and she hates red wine. Liquorice on the nose. — 9 years ago
Amazing purity with gorgeous fruit completely balanced by perfect acidity. An energetic bouquet jumps from the glass. Red currants, kirsch liquer, with a silky texture. — 10 years ago
This les St Georges was as good as an 8 year old can be- meaning better than any I had before. Grand Cru in all but name with texture, poise and aromatic bounty. Best of all, it demanded to be drunk lustily with the duck sausage! A great wine- compliments to Faively!!!! — 11 years ago
