2017
Very nice mouthfeel, soft, mellow acid, minerality. — 6 years ago
Crushable. Easy going, lovely floral and spice aromatics followed by lipsmacking fruit. — 6 years ago
Not much nose, quite closed. And it was even decanted. Must be going through a phase. But the taste is still elegant with stone, citrus, salt, just enough roundedness. Quite restrained. — 7 years ago
From split opened half hour before consumption. Earth, red fruit, and a hint of funk. Smooth tannins; searing acidity. Probably could use another five years to achieve better balance. — 7 years ago
Un grand pauillac? Not sûre. C bon. Une côte rôtie encore. — 8 years ago

2009 vintage. Very good but a puppy. Rustic but also delicious. Very Moreish. — 9 years ago
Complex, beguiling aromas of white pear, honey, layers of almond meal, creme brûlée, custard. Terrific mouth watering acidity. Thanks Matt — 10 years ago

2007 - a touch to dried prunes or raisons for me. To get super excited. — 6 years ago
— 7 years ago

Gladys Knight definitely heard it through the grapevine on this wine. Grape roundness with hints of olive oil, citrus, and saline.

Super Chenin... Encore. — 7 years ago
Very easy drinking, smooth on palate and complemented well with roast veg tart. — 8 years ago
There is a very pronounced earthy streak running through this one. The cherry aromas and flavors are there, for sure, but they are struggling to burst through a heavy layer of earthy sediment. I think of it as “dirty cherry.” The rustic nature actually makes me think of rusty, as in a piece of metal covered in iron oxide. The structure is a little weak, but that makes it very sippable. The minerals will go nicely with a piece of lean beef or pork. — 8 years ago
Solid wine but lacking some depth — 9 years ago
Nose of Christmas spices...made in a big style. — 10 years ago
I actually really enjoy the ones that have a couple grams of sugar. They're all over the place in Europe because we have all the ones that are too sweet in the states. — 11 years ago
