At Tinto wine tasting in VB. Cherry, smoky, paired well with Greek lamb dinner — 7 years ago
All the stone fruit flavor you could want but it's a brighter wine that you'd expect because the Malo is truncated before finishing. There's this lemon verbena flavor on the finish. — 7 years ago
Always terrific. Always Gamay and always shows the terroir of St. Joseph so well, where these vines are grown. Huge granitic nose, spice, mineral and and overall impression of rocks. Palate is so juicy on this darker interpretation of Gamay. Big, ripe, fiercely tannic, yet fresh deep and balanced. Terrific tannic bite full of granite and fruit. Great wine. — 8 years ago
Rich fruit - blueberries. Wood, chocolate. — 8 years ago
Bright, crisp and fresh with very fruit-forward characteristics (green apples and grapefruits). The fruit is balanced pretty well by honey on the long finish. Great wine for a hot summer night....and homemade chicken masala.

Really nice Syrah. 2009 Well balanced now. — 8 years ago
Fantastic mouth feel, rich mocha and chocolate on initial palette. Only gave it a 9 because it doesn't linger as long as 2 other Les Collines Syrahs I am side by siding it with. But considering the price and the quality... This is some bad ass Syrah. Drink it, you will not be disappointed! — 8 years ago
