Excellent value. Just a like a CdP but fraction of the cost. 50/50 grenache and syrah. — 7 years ago

There is enough depth, concentration, and balance here to justify $23. The 14.5% abv is dangerously well integrated. Delicious, with subtle acid and a pleasing mineral edge. Great example of a well-made Cotes-du-Rhone. 50% grenache, 30% syrah, 20% carignane. — 10 years ago
Complex but balanced and very pleasant. Love the color and feels lovely in your mouth — 8 years ago
I really loved this. Crisp, clean, slightly acidic and a hint of sweetness. Very easy to drink. Went well with both seafood and quail of all things. 👍 — 10 years ago
2013 La Remise de la Mordor'ee (rouge)
50% Merlot 50% Marselan
Appearance: clear, deep red-violet
Nose: Clean, medium plus plum
Palate: Dry, medium plus acid, medium plus fine tannins, medium body, mineral dusted flavors of juicy red & black fruits, singing floral, dark and chewy core. Long finish.
Quality: Very good for under $20.
Commentary: Very exciting, enjoyable now, worthy of aging for 2 years, and under $20. Multi-bottle purchase.
50% Merlot 50% Marselan, Love the blend. Let it breathe in glass. First time coming across Marselan in any form, and hope to see much more of it in the years to come.
