Love North Rhone Syrah.
Pure game with a little smoke, white pepper and bright fruit. I have a total bias for this style of wine. — 9 years ago
Don't let the color fool you. Let her come up from the deep chill and she'll blossom right in your face. — 10 years ago
Excellent rapport qualité/prix. 7€ Cuvée 2011, syrah. Excellent vin de table. Recommandé Gault&Millault. — 11 years ago
Solid sediment accounted for about a glass of this stuff. Thank goodness I decanted & kept it clean. Started out like a tart, sour cherry with an exceedingly dry finish. Not much fun. Decanted & the fruit started to come thorough. This never got voluptuous & remained assertive, but was rustic, bold & enjoyable enough to compliment a fresh made jalepeño pizza. Glug. — 11 years ago

Wow, really interesting nose. Picked basil, white pepper. Nice freshness and fruit on the palate! — 10 years ago

Great example of savoury Syrah. Notes of chicken liver, foie gras, leather, olive, and herbs. Good, but not as exciting on the palate as the nose. On the lighter side of full bodied with balanced acidity. Fantastic wine with food. Try with beef or lamb stew. — 8 years ago
