Chardonnay Grand Cru Mont-sur Rolle 2011 - Orchard fruits, smokiness, granite and floral notes on the nose; great freshness on the palate, good expression of fruit, balanced, lean, elegant, smooth finish — 10 years ago

Sancerre rouge. Freaking awesome pinot noir. — 12 years ago
At first this is a little underwhelming but it builds with just a little air. Honeysuckle, rose petals and new green leaves come out, with citrus and green apple acidity. Riding underneath is fresh cherry and strawberry fruit that's never up front but never missing either. Dry stone minerality and just a little salt, too. Loved it with udon noodles cooked with leftover Thanksgiving turkey. — 9 years ago

Rich and semi-oxidized. Not sure if that is the style or just the one bottle but I liked it either way. — 11 years ago
