Medium to almost full body , black cherries, a bit of leather, delicious, reminds me of Grenache but with a smoother, velvety texture. The finish is quite long with a bit of drying tannins for a Pinot noir from Burgundy. Very good quality here. — 4 years ago

Lovely intense medium cherry lipstick nose. Palate is crunchy cherries. Delicious. Perfect balance. Amazing freshness. Stay tuned ... this will change as it opens.

As it opens the nose is dense perfume. Really concentrated. Almost like a gas transforming into a liquid in your nostrils.

Palate is amazing. Terrific texture. Crazy internal aromatics. Palate coating beyond belief.

90 minutes in this is spectacularly delicious.

This vaporizes chevillon so bad it’s not funny. Cant believe this is a village wine. Wow.

Tanins are still a bit chunky. My guess is that they need another 2-3 years to smooth out.

Have not had this in 3 years. In a great place. Big cherries on the nose. Strawberry as well. Jammy but in the best possible way. Very aromatic. Palate has huge fruit, firm tannins and the always terrific Julien acidity. So fresh. Big 2012 density, volume and amplitude. — 8 years ago
