Last bottle of this once amazing Meursault found in a wine box where it shouldn’t have been. Would have been better 10 years ago, but still showing some of its more youthful complexity, good, no longer great. — 6 years ago
Domaine Coche Dury is arguably the most sought after internationally of white Burgundy domains according to Jasper Morris MW in his tome “Inside Burgundy “. This wine had aromas of Lemon and Citrus flowers. On the palate Lemon juice - lean with mineral and M plus acidity. In hindsight should have left this last one for a few years. A wine of restraint and elegance - a tinge of honey after a while. For the Coche Dury village style only 25% new wood is used. This wine rarity was suggested to me years ago by a former owner of Prince Wine store and Burgundy nut Phillip Rich. Must seek out later vintages. — 7 years ago
Fruit on the Rouge still hanging in there. Desiccated cherry and pomegranate. Tar. Wet leaves. Dried roses. Amazing.
The Coche-Dury tasted like 2006. Lemon curd, marzipan, flint, toasted hazelnuts. Perfection. 9.9. — 10 years ago
Very Coche dury like. Serous bottle still young . — 10 years ago
Last bottle of six 1990 Coche-Dury Meursaults acquired on original release from KLWM. This one is absolutely classic, piercing aromas of minerals and aged fatness, while color belies it’s age, extraordinary depth and precision and, still, freshness and complexity, finish goes on pretty much forever. Likely the very last bottle of this superb producer’s Meursault I’ll ever be privileged enough (or wealthy enough) to try, this one is an absolutely near-perfect ride, great with large Gulf Coast shrimp my wife procured today. An absolute WOW wine!!! — 5 years ago

A superb beaune ;) — 10 years ago
Un style droit, épuré, presque Coche Dury, un peu fumé — 10 years ago
Wow. Wow. Wow. Better than the Coche-Dury last night. Trade Tasting at the Four Seasons Maui. — 13 years ago
A very rich Chardonnay on the nose ripe tropical fruit Monteverro is the name of the area. Great terroir volcanic eroded soils with clay. They wanted to make the coche dury of Tuscany vanilla creme a hint of butterscotch clay retains water very well and is like a sponge all the Chardonnay planted at the bottom of the hill with the clay soils. Very rich bouquet limestone changes the ph they transfer the wines in stainless to preserve the freshness to keep the acid. Very creamy on the palate very rich and well endowed vanilla spice and wonderful fruit tropical with great freshness and balance very long finish 45+ most excellent only 150 cases produced this is the second vintage of Chardonnay. The average temperature is higher in the maremma but they do not have the peaks — 13 years ago
Bottle 216 of 914. What Can you say? We just finished our Perfect scoring Coche Dury Genevrieres 06. Next wine this D’auvenay.....did. we just drank water? This Can Not be True! Nothing, i mean Not 1 wine in the world is coming close to The whites of Lalou Bize Leroy....even The perfect ones....🍷❤️ 110/100 points — 6 years ago
This bottle completely delivers according to expectations. A Meursault Villages which could compete easily with other more famous parcels and producers. The hype around Boisson Vadot is completely logic. Reminds me of Coche Dury but as they work closely together this again is logic. Big wine which will age well. Beautiful ! — 6 years ago

Absolutely stunning qpr for a serious contemplative white borg. Minerality and a coche-dury-esque gunpowder note dominate the nose along with pear lemon meringue, and some hints of spice. Palate is racy and with a thick mineral spine. Great acidity and reasonable length. Actually abuts st aubin and chassagne Montrachet. Yes!!! — 7 years ago
Apricot nose, balanced Burgundian flavors with Coche-Dury finish. — 8 years ago
This is what burgundy should taste like!!!! — 13 years ago

Medium gold. Sweet fruity nose. Notes of lemon, apricot, tan spice, quince and some kiwi fruit. Very rich in the mouth with fine grain acidity lingering in the finish. This has evolved significantly over the past 10 years, leaving behind the early telltale Coche attributes of crushed stone and petrol notes. It’s in a great spot right now, and given how it’s evolved I’m going to be drinking my remaining bottles up in the next couple of years. — 5 years ago
