This is fun! Dried Grenache from California makes a lighter, more food friendly wine than it’s dried grape counterparts. Nice acidity, medium concentration, beautiful petal flavors. — 5 years ago

Really enjoyed this wine. Clean, smooth mouthfeel. No oak or butter, but no tartness either. Could drink this by the pool all day. — 6 years ago

Textbook. Excellent value. — 5 years ago
Night 2 notes: Just a killer Chablis. The purity and crystalline nose has citrus drizzled barely ripe peach, unbelievably sweet limestone/chalky minerality, a wee bit of damp earth. Intensely flavored yet almost weightless. Pure, very nicely integrate acidity. Great balance and nice persistence. — 5 years ago
Cranberry and dark cherry. Floral aromatics. More concentrated than their savigny bottling, but not what I would consider a complex wine — 6 years ago
Great value for monies. Flinty flinty with tropical fruit notes. — 8 years ago
Josh Jensen delivers quality year in and year out. His 2013 Central Coast Pinot Noir is well balanced with ripe fruit, nice oak development and integration. As always he sources from some of the top vineyards from Santa Barbara's Bien Nacido Vineyard to Monterey's SLH Doctors Vineyard and as far north as Santa Clara's Besson Vineyard. Putting together a wine of great quality and thought. — 9 years ago
Really nice... got this at a bargain price from Ahlgren's ongoing library sale. Aged very gracefully, beautiful garnet color. On the subtler side, feels like a French Cab rather than a CA one (I was told that the fruit doesn't always ripen entirely in this vineyard). Winemaker's comments: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dusty, velvety, aromatic varietal bouquet with hints of cherries. Fully balanced palate, soft tannins, good finish. Egg white fined, unfiltered. 257 cases produced. Bottled December 6, 1990. — 10 years ago
