Great dessert wine! Golden and succulent. A tad sweet than the non dessert gewurtz #moorebrothers $26 — 6 years ago
Golden honey color, 🍯🍐 on the nose, 🍑 finish, bright flavor, tastes like it’s been aged far longer! Def some residual sugar but not super sweet, ode to lychee. Amazing! Oyakodon Alsatian pairing taste-off. Great QPR for $22 — 6 years ago
Fresh & floral. Polished, balanced and quite racy for a wine with 126 grams RS! Peaches, pears. Probably should've declared it SGN. #barmesbuecher #alsace — 7 years ago
Rich, ripe and delicious. — 8 years ago
Bio Sparkling. Damn tasty. Not super expensive. A bit riper and not as much minerality but way fun. — 8 years ago

Seriously, this incredible six plus year Pinot was just $25. Certified Biodynamic to boot. Smooth tannins and bright acidity. — 5 years ago
Great tension between racy & creamy elements. Wet stones, orange peel, cream, chervil. Impeccable. #barmesbuecher #pinotblanc — 6 years ago
Rich without beeing cloying, dry, with slight tropical notes, moderate acidity and ripe stone fruit, so satisfying! — 6 years ago
A nice dry Riesling with refreshing acidity to match roundness of flavor — 7 years ago
Sweet. A little nectar & honey. A lot of residual sugar. Glad I tried. — 8 years ago
Powerful, commanding, very rich already. Queen Anne cherries and wet stones. Burgundian weight & length. — 8 years ago
A racy Pinot noir nothing to compare with Burgundy, maybe just a bit of character like - it is intense, more ripe, light smoky notes and maybe missing some little acidity - however a nice wine very pleasant that I would be happy to see evolve - had a nice moment 😃🍷 — 9 years ago
supported a dessert. 150530. With Semih Family and Ohara Family. — 9 years ago
Clear, medium intensity and gold appearance. Clean, pronounced intensity, passion fruit, nectarine, floral, melon, strawberry, creme brûlée, acetone to the nose. Complex, well balanced, with a long finish. — 9 years ago
High body, sweet, herbaceous. — 10 years ago

Alsace Gewurz is a wine I pop when I want to reward myself. Tonight it’s a reward for getting a lot of yard-work done on a ridiculously hot and humid day and not getting dehydrated.
The nose is Gewurtzy, of course, in that it shows lychee, apricot, and musky florals, but what really sets this apart from the run-of-the-mill G-Dog is its minerality. Takes it from the verge of cloying, with which Gewurz can flirt, to something special. Soft and full in the mouth, slightly sweet. Very long finish. — 6 years ago
Love Barmes wines . This is so interesting , very complexed . Beautiful minerality , with a long finish . — 6 years ago

2008--Not bad, clean, but not very expressive. — 8 years ago
Is geen Crèmant!! Maar de Pinot Blanc.
Ganzengors, euro 16.95.
Kleur; goudgeel
Geur; complex, abrikoos, bloemig, kruifig, iets van amandel
Smaak: vol en veel en rijk, met zachte zuren, volle smaak met iets van abrikoos, mandarijn, amandelbitter, toch ook fris. Erg lekker! — 9 years ago
Light golden color, lush spicy palate. Great with blue cheese. — 9 years ago
Gold. (Sir lie) parfumé, medium bodied. Toast (roast chicken!!) dried apricot, flower and bitter almonds. Medium a acidity. Food friendly ☺️ — 9 years ago
Just beautiful. Perfect balance of sweet and spice with acid backbone. — 10 years ago
