Acacia + pure, vinous sap + marzipan + electric acidity. Hengst is French for stallion, and this fits the bill. Superior! — 9 years ago
Is geen Crèmant!! Maar de Pinot Blanc.
Ganzengors, euro 16.95.
Kleur; goudgeel
Geur; complex, abrikoos, bloemig, kruifig, iets van amandel
Smaak: vol en veel en rijk, met zachte zuren, volle smaak met iets van abrikoos, mandarijn, amandelbitter, toch ook fris. Erg lekker! — 10 years ago

Super peachy upfront, less ripe on the palate. Crisp with lots of minerally stone fruit. $27 with shrimp, asparagus, and artichoke spring risotto — 6 years ago
Great tension between racy & creamy elements. Wet stones, orange peel, cream, chervil. Impeccable. #barmesbuecher #pinotblanc — 7 years ago

Tasted over the course of five days alongside a great Monthélie and a fabulous old vines cru Bojo. On day five, I’d say this bright, cerise-scented, regal and composed Pinot carried the day. Like most Barmès Pinots over the years, there’s more than a hint of Chambolle. Impressive. — 5 years ago
