Nice acidity with some width to it and a little bit of richness, a delicious finish on pears mostly. Good bottle but lacks the zip of the best Perrières.
Beau vin sans être dans la même classe que les meilleurs Perrières, belle acidité et une bouche assez ample avec un peu de richesse, belle finale sur les poires. 90-91 — 5 years ago
Disgorged 2019 - youthful power, rose gold hue, very substantial but then a lingering zest. Gift that keeps on giving. — 6 years ago
Wow. So this young fresh fruity CDP settled in nicely about 30 minutes I. And drank nicely over a couple of hours. At great value on the list. — 7 years ago
Deep dark fruit and maybe a little licorice on the nose. On the palate there is a wonderful taste of just baked blueberry muffins, figs, spiced tea and licorice, all on a nice earthy backbone. We visited this winery in July on our cruise and just received my shipment. What a beautiful CDP! — 9 years ago
Great Chardonnay, a wine that is usually to sweet for me. This wine has a nice balance between floral, fruity, and buttery notes. Best white that I've had to date! — 10 years ago
This was a monster out of the gate and held its own. Really impressed. Shows age but not softness. Elegant, open, beeswaxy, beautiful — 11 years ago
Slow to open. Acidic for first few hours. Balanced out in time. Wonderful nose. Cannot mistake for other than a great burgundy. Great leathery base. Bright fruit has departed (which is good). Slight hint of backend oxidation. Drinks wonderfully after 12-18 hrs! — 4 years ago
Benefited from a 90 minute decant. Lots of acidity but good dark fruit, soft tannins and minerality — 5 years ago
Fresh, more of a morning champagne — 7 years ago
Crisp and clean with a lovely medium pink color. Perfect for ringing in 2017 — 9 years ago
Not a bad Beaune in its body. — 11 years ago
Wow. Yeasty focused fruit explosion. Wow. A great wine. Internal llaromatics lagging but this will be sick in time. Ig — 11 years ago
Bright, lively, full of floral notes, honey, a touch of sweetness. Lot of apple/ pear, nice mineraly finish — 9 months ago
#Remembrance #Love 6/25.
Sofia loved Penguins. We played w/ them in Dubai and she also skied indoor while I had a spot of Champagne and watched from a very big window. Only in Dubai. They have to build things of that nature…cus w/o them…just a bunch of sand. — a year ago
Love the nose on this: ripe apple, pear, spice and butter cream. A bit unbalanced on the palate with plenty of mineral and richness and likely some years to go to settle. Throw a meal at this one! — 5 years ago
Opened 12 hrs prior. Payed off. — 6 years ago
Always a fav producer — 7 years ago
Hints of fruit and an earthy flavor. Good for a sunny afternoon. — 9 years ago
Lovely Pinot from a warm year. Rich with a long finish. — 10 years ago
Clean, precise, notes of toffee/butterscotch, a little more dense but minerally, great showing — 11 years ago
Conrad Green

a sweet nose of light bright fruit. Some green apple, delicate oak notes and citrus. A steeliness but some of the 15 sweetness with a light salinity and delicate shards of acidity. Young but approachable. — 8 months ago
