Just great juice.
After a good decant the Old Poodle Dog Cab (from Coho wines- a serious favorite) opens to a plush & sweet little beauty. A bright nose of cherries and some lavish oak roll onto the palate with an open and lively character. I have gone through more than a dozen btls of this in the last 7yrs. This btl seemed to be slightly less fresh than most of the others but still had a nose of burnt orange and an Asian ponzu and opened up to a toffee, caramel with amazons acidity that refreshed the palate. — 11 years ago
