Thank God it seems like lots of people do not get bachelet. I see this stuff lingering around the local stores. More spice characters than I could ask for in the category. I'm not even going to get specific. This is by far the best CdN year after year. — 9 years ago

Very good, smooth Rhône, easy drinking. Delicious, not too heavy — 6 years ago
Dancing in the glass, on the nose, on the palate. Then makes me want to dance. — 7 years ago
One of the wines I had in 2008 that made me fall in love with wine was a Côte du Rhone by JL Chave "Mon Coeur". It's been a long time since I had a Rhone wine, I got this from Kermit Lynch shop in Berkeley, Cali. Nice notes of pepper and spice, gamy, good tannins from Syrah. Another good find from Kermit... Try this with steak that has fat, you will love this wine! — 9 years ago
Meant to rate it higher, darn good juice! — 10 years ago
My current Trader Joe $6 favorite. Amazing for $6 and I don't care if I open it for just one glass — 11 years ago

This really is ground-breaking Pinot. It drinks exactly how it shouldn't, and it's fantastic. Young and bright like this is great, aroma mellows to bright cherry yet starts will hints if spice. Pallet is juicy and acidic, a wonderful wine to crush, but is intense in a very unexpected and pleasant way. The Bourgogne for the Rhone drinker. — 9 years ago

Ruby burgundy color. Jammy and fruit forward with berries and some spice. Smoky and a hint of umami. Rhubarb and strawberry. Tart cherry pies. Nice acidity with a hint of wet rubber or something in the palate. A tasty and unique southern red. — 6 years ago
