Really nice!

Hefty! Great dark fruit and oak flavors...almost like cinnamon and nutmeg. Pairing this wine with blue cheese fritters is as an amazing a pairing as Dire Straights and Eric Clapton at Wembley '88: seamless perfection at every moment.

Like a lazer shooting Xanadu right into your brain. Glorious, rolling, disco light beauty. I drank this and my hair feathered and I was backlit. — 12 years ago
Visual: Brillante y translucido, color granate, disco mediano, lagrimas ligeras.
Buen valor.

Visual: no defectos. Disco pequeno, ruby claro. Traslucente. Buenas lagrimas.
Olfato:
Cereza, frambuesa fresca, algo a tierra pero no mucho spice. Algo tart.
Boca: mismos sabores, fruta fresca tart. Cranberry. No madera.

Chilled Carbonic Poulsard. Super barnyard funk, sour cherries, zippy, minerally, herbal... with that kick of Brett. Desert island wine! Really fun and interesting, drinks almost like a lambic. This wine is like an 80s electro-disco dance party in your mouth!! :) — 9 years ago

A little recap from last week. And of course it's gamay and it's lovely. Served at home with strong moldy cheese, local plum jam and Miles Davis best, and second, great quintet LP box.

Nariz: cereza, frambuesa, regaliz, bosque, intensidad M

Visual: rojo/violeta intenso. Disco mediano lagrimas notables. Mucha viscosidad. Limpio.
Nariz: ciruela, fruta oscura, especies y madera.

Special “Disco” bottle, wine was aged for 4 years on its lees before disgorgement. Bright yellow color with a bouquet of baked apples and sweet spice. The bubbles are fine and plentiful with a foam mousse, amplifying the handcrafting that went into the wine. The taste was rich with flavors of apple, ripe strawberry and blackberry and yeasty notes. The wine was well balanced and had a nice structure, a bit creamy with a touch of sweetness. The finish was long in length and had mineral characteristics. — 9 years ago

Red Kool-Ade and burnt plum skins with toasty citrus notes and sherry trifle aromas. Also, hints of cherry blossom. Medium mouthfeel with chewy tannins emerge behind a curtain of said Kool-Ade and smoked citrus peel laden bitters in flat cola, Pure cocoa, clove and and cinnamon bark. Remember "suicide sodas"? Strap on your oral roller skates while this lovely wine aims it's tannic lasers right at the disco ball you call your heart, and while the flickering flavor bubbles of your taste buds alternate to the rhythmic complexities watch in awe as it gyrates suggestively across your amazed mouth. — 12 years ago
