Silky tannins. Blueberries on the nose. Spicy — 5 years ago
We are having this with pizza, but this is not a pizza wine! Hardy, if you can do this for Zinfandel (spicy, tart, zing) I will follow you forever! — 6 years ago
Med weight with just enough texture n bright clean citrusy finish — 8 years ago
Once I stopped wanting this to be Muscadet (much lower acidity) or Ramato Pinot Gris (not nearly the tannin/phenolic structure) I really enjoyed this. It's a much quieter and more nuanced 'orange' wine, rewarding close attention and time taken. Lots of development over 3 days, and I'm curious where this is in another year or two. Alder Springs makes Thingz with Zings! Does anything come from this place that isn't a laser or lightning bolt? Must make hair stand on end when you walk through it. I can just picture @Hardy Wallace picking his grapes looking like he had his hand on a van de Graff generator... — 7 years ago
Nicely balanced. Not too sweet. Paired with Indian curry — 7 years ago

Not what I usually get, but a refreshing change! Careful, 8.5 ABV is almost like two beers — 9 years ago
Aromas of mushrooms, underbrush, cassis, blackberries, old leather boots, volate acidity, crushed stones, and black pepper. Rustic, dirty, earthy, dark fruits, leather, dark chocolate, and some rancio notes. Weak but some rustic beauty to it. — 11 years ago
