Clean, crisp and flavorful - a bit riper than Chablis but very much a cool climate Wine; this has green apple, green pear, acacia, flint and wet stone, and a bright bit of herbal greenery in the background. There is more body here than in Chablis with a hint of creaminess on the palate. Really enjoyable, a food-lover’s wine. An absolute beauty. The perfume on this thing is exquisite. Violets, spicy pepper, and smokey bacon fat. Palate has a nice twist of funk at this early stage and ends with a solid tannic presence. I would blind this against any american syrah and guarantee it would hold its own, craziest part is it will only continue to develop. — 6 years ago

So visually sexy the deep rich purple sticks to the glass like sweat on a hot day. The nose is intoxicating Rich pulling around nice and gives you a hint you might be about to experience something wonderful.
